Special requirements
All riders must be at least 18+ years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at time of rental. Drivers must be 18+ for scooters.
All drivers must have a valid driver’s license. Learner’s permits are not accepted.
State law requires that all riders wear eye protection at all times. Sunglasses or any other kind of glasses will also suffice.
Extras
Most of downtown St. Augustine and Anastasia Island is within the boundaries.
Riders may cross the Bridge of Lions to Anastasia Island and may go to the beach but not on the sand.
No other bridges may be crossed except the Bridge of Lions.
Riders may not take the bikes onto Highway US-1 (Ponce de Leon) or anywhere in which the speed limit is over 40mph, as the top speed on all rental vehicles is 30mph.
No rentals are allowed on the beach, on dirt roads, in water or flooded areas, or off-road.
Free Parking is for most vehicles while renting. We reserve the right to limit, change or cancel this offer without notice.
Overnight rentals begin at 4:30pm each night and the bikes may be kept until 11am the next morning. If you wish to return the bike before we open at 10am, we will give you instructions on how to lock it up at the store.

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

Do I need a motorcycle license to ride a scooter?
No. For scooters under 50cc, a standard Class E driver’s license is perfectly legal in Florida.
What is the age requirement to rent a Scooter?
Renters must be at least 18.
Do I need insurance to rent a scooter?
No. Insurance is not required on a scooter in the State of Florida, but is recommended.
What if I have never driven a scooter before?
We have the largest scooter training area in St. Augustine, and have trained over 100k people how to ride since 1999. You may cancel your rental if you are not comfortable after training.
Are helmets required for scooter rentals?
Helmets are required for riders under 16 and highly recommended for everyone. We provide them for free.
Are glasses required for scooter rentals?
Yes. Eye protection is required and provided for free if needed. Sunglasses are acceptable during the daytime.

We offer a flexible weather policy. You can reschedule or receive a refund for severe storm days up to the beginning of your rental.

Yes. We offer flexible hourly, daily, and weekly multi-day rental packages.
